I’m so excited to share one of the most special sessions I’ve had the privilege of photographing—my Mammie and Papa’s Colorado Sunset Session. There’s something extraordinary about being able to capture moments for family, especially when it’s doing something I love. Spending time with them, camera in hand, was the perfect way to blend two of my greatest joys. The bond we share is something I cherish deeply, and getting to document their love and life together is a memory I’ll hold close to forever.

The location we chose for this session couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s one of our favorite spots in Colorado, which holds meaning for all of us. The open fields, with the mountains standing proudly in the background, provided the most stunning backdrop as the sunset. Watching them together, driving around in their vintage blue car, both dressed in white shirts and denim pants, was a sight that felt both nostalgic and heartwarming. The sweet and heartfelt moments I captured during this session were everything I hoped for and more. They were my perfect little models, sharing smiles and looks that only years of love can create.

This Colorado Sunset Session was truly something special, and I’m so grateful to have been able to capture these moments for my grandparents. It’s not every day that I get to photograph people I love this much, and that makes these photos all the more meaningful. I can’t wait to continue photographing these two for as long as they’ll let me, preserving memories that we’ll all treasure for years to come.
